Overview

The Nutriculture RUSH RDWC (Recirculating Deep Water Culture) system is the highest yielding technique for growing plants using an RDWC system. It allows 34 circulation of nutrient solution and oxygen per hour to reach the roots' networks and travels through 63mm piping. The system includes up to 12 mesh pots, with individual reservoir tanks. The tanks comprise air stones slotted into the base, which bubble to release oxygen. It's a high-performance growing system, which recirculates oxygen and nutrient rich solution around the system at about 34 times/hour.

The Science

The 6.5 Litres pots fit inside the DWC reservoir, where the air stone ensures a consistent stream of bubbles under the mesh pot. It creates oxygenated and nutrient-rich conditions for the roots of your plants, which accelerates their growth. The system combines the benefits of DWC growing with a consistent RUSH recirculation. The method allows your plants to receive optimum nutrition and prevents under- or over watering.

How to Use

Leave the pump on non-stop because the plants' roots must be able to access oxygen and the nutrient solution. Use the stoppers to close the piping at each end of the tank you intend to clean. Connect RUSH to a chiller to maintain a consistent temperature. The optimum temperature ranges between 18-21 degrees Celsius. Adjust the float valve so the roots aren't entirely covered by the nutrient solution.
