Each check is approximately 30mm, pattern repeat 17cm. 

A Merchant & Mills Check Collection, this is a beautiful, light weight fabric that is suitable for sewing light dresses, tops and shirts. It would make a fabulous Edie top, Cuff Dress, Mathilde Skirt, Etta Dress or Clover Top to name just a few sewing patterns. 

You will find slubs and irregularities in the threads and weave of this 100% cotton fabric - just what we love about it. The colour intensity may soften with washing. ​​

Care: Machine wash 30°C, do not bleach, warm iron, dry cleanable, do not tumble dry. Do not dry or leave in direct sunlight. 
For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
